PROBLEM STATEMENT
How can we design the social media campaign to feel more cohesive, fresh, and engaging?
Past campaigns lacked visual consistency and emotional impact. Needed stronger branding to connect with our Instagram audience during a busy season.
Goal
Create a warm, unified visual identity for the Advent season that feels spiritually grounded and visually consistent. Increase social media interaction and event turnout through compelling design.
Visual Identity
Blended traditional Advent elements (stars, the baby Jesus) with modern typography and cozy textures to create a joyful, faith-centered aesthetic. Used warm gradients, serif fonts, and star motifs to evoke light, hope, and celebration. Anchored the campaign with a custom star logo similar to the Star of Bethlehem. Designed post templates for flexibility while maintaining visual unity across platforms.

REFLECTION
Practiced designing within constraints, balancing this Advent themes with the Campus Ministry's long-term brand identity with the university. Strengthened my ability to lead visual direction in a collaborative, fast-paced, and time-sensitive environment. Developed systems thinking by creating reusable assets that allowed for fast iteration and content variation.
